An unbeaten century by William Prowse laid the foundations for a score of 233 against The Mote on Saturday, but Hythe couldn't dislodge the visitors, who finished on 160-7. The winning draw means Hythe are now in third place with 168 points. The Mote are top of the table with 202 points, followed by Tenterden with 182.
Despite a winning draw against Orpington on Saturday, Hythe still languish in 4th place, over 30 points behind the two leading teams Harvel and Broadstairs, and 13 behind Gravesend.
