Grove Grovellers

Grove Grovellers, a name that tumbles off the lips like melting water, continue to play a brand of football little seen elsewhere in our septic isle. First fashioned in 1972 the Grovellers seek to make of 'the beautiful game' a fashion statement. Often the cry 'Your football is chic' is heard from the touchline and each week the effort is made to make the dancing pass, the flighted volley a matter of routine.

A season which begins in October and ends in March sees not only tours, dinners, pitch marking jamborees but also the annual spectacle of the International Football Fiesta 'a cavalcade of sporting excellence'

All is completed in order to play, to support the bar and in so doing support the club.
