Stars and Stripes Junior Football

Football
Firstly welcome to a new season and to those who have joined the club we hope that you have enjoyed your experience so far.

Stars and Stripes FC has developed at an astounding rate over the last four years which culminated last year with the successful Charter Standard Status being achieved.
The club have not stood still and we are hopeful to bring a new and exciting chapter to the clubs history. Stars and Stripes FC is now in a strong position to deliver quality football to the local community of Hythe. We now boast seven teams in the East Kent Youth League and new under 7s and Minis sessions, which have been incredibly popular over the summer.

Our structure and ambitions have been recognised by Hythe Town FC and together with the KCFA we have been engaged in discussions with Hythe Town FC to investigate the possibility of an affiliation between the two clubs for the benefit of Hythe.

We are very pleased to announce that Stars and Stripes FC will be affiliating with Hythe Town FC. This relationship is still in its infancy and will take some while to establish, however both clubs are committed to promoting our links and shared ambitions for the future of football in Hythe.

Stars and Stripes FC will form the youth section to the senior Hythe Town FC. Our first joint project will be to establish an Under 18s side that will compete in the Valley Express Youth League. Our shared hope is that young players from Hythe will progress into the Reserves and First team to represent the town as a number of ex Stars and Stripes players have in the past, but now in a more structured and managed process.

There will be no drastic changes and our philosophy and established structure will remain unchanged for the near future. There is little point in undoing work that has proved so successful in the past; the intention is to build on this.
