Minutes and agendas of committee meetings will appear here when available. President's Message The club celebrated its 150th anniversary last year - and what a year it turned out to be! We had success on and off the field, with all sections making it a year to remember. This great club is now so much more than just a cricket club. There's squash, racketball, golf, football, junior football, a thriving social side. All this goes together to make us one of the strongest clubs in the county. We all have a part to play in ensuring this success goes on. It's your club and it's up to each and every one of you to make sure the club is still here in another 150 years' time. A lot of people have put a lot of time and effort into making sure the club ticks over smoothly. I would like to say a personal thanks to Alison, Nigel, Chris, Steve, Alan (our much appreciated groundsman), Andy, Gerry and Roger for all the hard work they have done behind the scenes in the last two years. Work on the new clubhouse is still ongoing, but it is a building to be proud of and one we should make the most of. I wish you all the best for a happy and successful year! Dick Apps Note from the Chairman I am really pleased to be able to write to you as Chairman at the start of another eagerly awaited cricket season. Having spent more years than I care to remember watching and supporting cricket at The Grove, I have always been impressed by the commitment, drive and comradeship shown by all those involved. But on occasions, an individual deserves particular mention. If you have not already had a chance to see it, please make a point of finding the ClubMark board in the Cluib. You will see from this the enormous amount of work Nigel Pichowski has, almost single-handedly, put into this project. To achieve this ECB recognised status we will be introducing a wide range of enhanced cricket facilities and I want to publicly recognise Nigel's enormous contribution to making this club a safe, fun and well-supported venue to learn and play cricket. Finally, I wish all our teams, be it squash, football, golf or colts, a successful and enjoyable year. Di Cobb
