New Year Eve 2010
Following on from the success of last year we are following the same format this year - Adults only, meal and disco. The meal will be restricted to 60 owing to space in the Longroom - please e-mail me to reserve places.


CHILDRENS CHRISTMAS PARTY SATURDAY 18TH DECEMBER

Fun time at The Grove for the children from little tots to 10 year olds. An afternoon full of fun and entertainment including the most important item of the day is meeting Santa.

Arrival Time 2pm
Entertainment Starts 2.15pm - so be ready
Meeting With Santa 3.30pm (Children meet Santa Individually)
Party Food Teatime 4.15pm - Please make sure you stay with your child (children) if they suffer from any food allergy and advise Alison beforehand if this applies
Time To Go Home 5.00pm

Members Children Entrance is free - just bring an addressed present for Santa to give to your child - cost advice £5-£10

Members Friends Children - If you should wish to bring another child (children) to accompany your own we will have to make a charge of £3.00/child plus the gift as explained above.

This has always been a great event for the children please continue to support it.

Chairman XI v's Presidents XI Cricket - good atmosphere cricket followed by games in the evening.


Halloween Party – Saturday 30th October

Come and enjoy fun and games from 7.30 onwards. Fancy dress very much encouraged to get into the spirit. Cauldron of Chilli on the stove (please book with bar staff beforehand just to make sure head witch cooks up a big enough pot) £3.00/head. Disco booked to entertain you – prizes for best outfits don't be a party pooper be a party goer.

Curry Night follows the match - Tai Green Curry, Lamb Rogan and Veg Curry Rice & Nann on offer £3.50/head

Tuesday 10th August v's Betteshanger
Fun Games Night - Hot Dogs & Rolls at low price to soak up the ale

Wednesday 11th August v's Rye
Quiz Night - come on flex the brain enter a team of 4-6 people - Hot Dogs & Rolls again for sustanance

Thursday 12th August v's The Lobsters
Always a popular day followed by BBQ

Friday 13th August - Chappell's Xl v's Large's Xl
Memorial Match to remember Bob Chappell and Peter Large - BBQ into the evening.

The matches and the evening themes are not just for the Cricket section they are open for all members to join in so come and watch and hope for sunshine - come and participate in the evenings - Jugs of Pimms, Bitter and Lager on offer.
